「Would have been nice to be told pool was been drained」

「This was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. We arrived, anticipating an attractive and heated pool. We discovered a very dirty, shabby out of date pool that was cold. After much communication with Expedia, the owners of the hotel turned up the temperature on the pool. Unfortunately, because the hotel was listed as a four-star hotel, but was maybe at least a 2 1/2 star or three star hotel, we decided to go somewhere else. 「Hotel centrally located. 1-2 blocks from Four Mile Beach and a few blocks from the stores and restaurants. Ideal. Free parking. Small pool area but made to look like a beach. Small “spa” room. Breakfast buffet $40 and also small and limited choices so we skipped.」

「The room was super spacious, big comfy bed, really nice bathroom, had everything we needed and there was a pool! Also, there was a shared kitchen next to the pool, if you wanted to go all out and cook your own food, otherwise, you had the necessities in your room. Super lovely staff also, very friendly and lovely to talk to.」

「The locationis great and is within walking distance to Beach, shops and parks. Unfortunately the condition of the apartment was stale, dated and in need of a refresh. Particularly replacement of the large couch with the broken arm held up bu the coffee table, TV didn't work and the kitchen facilities needed a deep clean. Beds were uncomfortable. Definitely overpriced for the conditions of the apartment. Laundry facilities were clean and tidy.」

「Outstanding lodge in a nature reserve with great facilities and friendly helpful staff. The chalet accommodation was spotless, comfortable and very well equipped, and the location in the nature reserve was great. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Only stayed one night, but wish we had stayed at least one more. Having said that, it was not cheap, but good value for what was on offer.」
