cool place, spread out and well set up. friendly staff, good mix of guests. not far from the centre of town, easily walkable although I did not. will stay again for sure

Property was well run with lots of kitchen and fridge storage and plenty of hobs to cook on. Dorms, and private rooms available with fridge, fan and aircon. Quiet area, quiet hostel.

Dougies was a great hostel! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They even let us check in earlier too. Amenities were clean, the private dorm was clean and the vibes in the common area were great. They even had a Dj on the decks on the Sunday which was awesome, especially whilst your drinking the cheapest beer in town. Would recommend to any travellers, even those who generally don’t like the idea of a hostel. Dougies will exceed your expectations.
