"Good location, free parking, swimming pool and reasonable price. Yes the hotel is very dated but we were made to feel welcome, had clean presentable room with fresh ironed bedding and towels and a very good tasty breakfast to suit all tastes. We slept well and it was a good base to explore Geneva and Annecy without the unrealistic hotel prices you see in the cities. "

"Wonderful walking opportunities' from the site or by quick car ride. Ideal for walkers and for winter ski resort A restaurant would have been nice at night or a bar as there is nothing local and if you have not been to the supermarket before arriving you could be left desperate"

"The bathroom needs renovation, otherwise clean and functional. Jennifer(?) is an outstanding host. I made an error when making my reservation. She corrected it however she could. It is challenging to find a hotel with a personal touch. She made it this way. If I return to Gex, this will be my stop."

"Dark and depressing, everything is brown, very little natural light, clean but very tired and very basic. This is not a Hotel, you have to make your own beds, staff unhelpful when we needed to move rooms because of the barking dog next door …. we asked if they could help move the linen and were told by them that that wasn’t there job why should they do it??? Maybe a misunderstanding as i thought we were booking a hotel room this feels more like a hostel ….. "

"Kids loved the pool and I loved the sauna. The rooms were large and well appointed. Great little town with herds of sheep walking around. "

"This was literally the absolute worst hotel (really, it was more like a hostel) that I have stayed in either stateside or abroad. The property only allows you to communicate with them during two short periods daily around check-in and out. Their information indicates check in is not on the property. After needing to call for clarification, we were given a separate address that led us to the same location. There is no parking at the actual hotel because of construction.
