Room was not clean with multiple stains on the walls and furniture, dust on tables/cabinets, and mine had two old socks in the room when I arrived. Location is fine given the close access to the tram but further away from the more interesting parts of the city than I initially thought. Staff was okay, although when I arrived, the middle-aged white woman working at the desk gave me a deadpan stare for several seconds before finally greeting me which I thought was strange. Breakfast was a let-down with not much variety or fresh tasting food and the cups did not look clean. Overall, if I ever come back to Amsterdam, the likelihood of me returning to this hotel is next to zero.
