"Rooms were fine. Awakened 4:30ish am to a loud alarm. Wouldn’t stop. First thought our alarm. 5-10 minutes. Stopped, started again. People talking in halls until we left @ 6:45 am. We were disoriented. No voice system telling us fire alarm, but false. If had been fire, we would be dead. No one left rooms. Need to upgrade system with voice"

"The location was good in respect to a gas station was close by on the corner to get imminities needed. The nearest grocery store was a mile and a 1 away approximately. The condition of the hotel. It was very clean but it is an older building. One problem with the room is that you cannot control the light by the bedside. It was connected to the main light of the room. Therefore, it required you to get up and turn off the light when you were ready. To get to bed and also required. You to have all lights on all the time. Instead of just the bedside light, something in the wiring is off. . Staff was very kind and very generous and readily available. However, there was very little offered in respects to the coffee in the lobby, the both mornings that I went down for coffee. There was barely any coffee made or even freshly brewed. They had a couple of packaged danishes, but not enough to accommodate the people that would be staying in the rooms. They would have gotten a complete vibe from me. the immunities in the room were almost non existent.A little aquare package of soap and a couple of small bars of soap. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. You get you get what you pay for I suppose. If you are in a pinch and just need a night or two I would recommend this hotel for longer periods of times I would not."

"I'm usually not picky about hotels, but this place is in very bad shape. Everything is old, has holes and stains, including the bedding and towels. The room was barely cleaned also. At least things in the room worked ok."

"I love this hotel so far and will continue to stay here when I Got o Houston. They have p laced me in room 346 each time and I love it. My husband and I are both disabled veterans and this room gives us plenty of room. Leslie was great during check in and very courteous. There is plenty of handicapped parking which we need, but I notice when we leave for any night time activities, when we returned both times, we had to park a long way from the front, but fortunately there were other accesses to the building that we could use. The room location was wonderful because it was away from the elevator and had a good view of the city street. The hotel is in the heart of the city and so close to everything you need regarding food and shopping. My husband ate the breakfast and enjoyed it and I love the free parking, microwave and refrigerators in the room because we come out there to go to concerts and things and often eat at the restaurants and have take out. The only setback was on the day of check out, our phone began ringing at 10:00 every 15 minutes as if they were rushing us out but the desk clerk informed me at check out that it was not the front desk so that was absolutely weird. "
