The room was charming and comfortable, and the central location made it easy to reach both the train station and the old town on foot. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. "This is a beautiful place. Gorgeous landscaping, plenty of places to sit or walk the trails. Very clean. We didn't like the shower in our room, and there were quite a few stairs to our elevator which was difficult with luggage. I really would have stayed longer if we could. The pool was nice and I had a good massage. "

The extremely friendly staff, food, property, everything…I wish I had known about this area sooner, I definitely would have made this my normal stop more often."

"We enjoyed Hotel and Gasthaus Lowen very much. Booking the hotel was easy and the communication from the hotel to us was excellent. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and taking the train into Freiburg was very easy and made our time lass stressful as we didn't need to worry about driving. Our room was well equipped, comfortable and quiet. It was the ideal place for us to stay as visited the Christmas market in Freiburg."
