「Was a beautiful place. Really helpful hosts. Room-superior king was beautifully presented and had a lovely view over Peasholme Park. It was lovely and peaceful. Access to amenities was easy, A 5 minute walk through park to North Beach. Then took bus which runs every 25 minutes to South Side. Had breakfast in Bella Ross cafe just across road from Park View. Which was excellent then Talk Bar next door in evenings was brilliant 5 star to all 🌟 Had a lovely 3 day stay.」

「When I arrived in Scarborough by train I used the Google maps on my phone to find this hotel since I wasn't sure where it's location was. Staff customer service skills were fantastic. There was a lift inside the hotel, which I only used twice. I wasn't a fan of that lift. On 19/6 when I first wanted to use it I was having a problem with getting the lift to work, a member of staff on the reception desk shown me how to close the lift door. 「On arrival my husband was given a door key card not the actual key that was actually needed. He was stuck outside the room on the second floor because had had all the luggage and didn't want to lug it back downstairs. Room was very hot with no view but fortunately had a fan. Bed was comfortable and TV reception was very poor. Best I can do was our stay was 2 star.🙂‍↕️」

「The Grand Hotel is a beautiful hotel in a great location. The room (a triple / family room) was clean and convenient. The fans in the room (in the midst of a heatwave) and the water dispenser in reception were great touches. We were initially impressed with the proactive communication prior to our visit. However, the code we were given (twice) for the NCP wouldn't work on arrival and we were told by NCP it had expired in March 2026. On raising this with Barbara at reception, we received a shrug...
