"The front desk staff was welcoming. However, although I tried to give the place some grace because they are going through renovations, the room wasn't the cleanest I have seen in this chain. The shower door was very dirty on the bottom and the floor was sticky. When looking up, I see a bug in the light cover, too. A few things that could easily have made the stay better.
As I was leaving, I grabbed some coffee and when I took the first sip, it was cold. A little disappointed all the way around."
"pool was indeed "warm" (rare), and the hot tub OK. HOWEVER, the room had several issues with lights that didn't work, and multiple light switches not apparently attached to anything. Back to the pool - we each took one of 3 small towles provided. Only one left. And, the coffee machine was turned off in the lobby about 6 pm. Attendant said there was one in the room - right, one Decaf. Poor part of town, homeless persons strolling the alley. 5 points for having Sausage and Biscuits for...
"This hotel is a good value for the price and style but could use some updates. The lobby and common areas seemed well-maintained, and the staff was super friendly and helpful! The cookies and bottled water were a nice touch at check-in, and it was nice to have hot coffee available at all times. Breakfast was decent but I did notice the pool was closed. The room had a nice new mattress/linens and was cleaned, but unfortunately it just seemed kind of dingy due to its age and maintenance level. ...
"The first room we were given, the ac did not work. After one hour of expecting the room to cool down, we asked to be moved to another room. The second room we were given was much better. The overall condition of the hotel was poor at best.
