"The best part of this property was the ocean view from the lobby entrance and dining area. That’s what you’re paying for.
Other than that, the king room was mediocre with a small bathroom and little counter space."

Excellent stay !!! We stayed for 3 days and from the minute we arrived you could tell you were at the Four Seasons. All the staff were always smiling and really seemed like they enjoyed their jobs and were constantly checking in to make sure all was well. Our villa was very clean with a nice balcony. This is the second time we have stayed at this Four Seasons and we will be back.

Great resort, nice amenities. Loved the fresh squeezed orange juice every morning with the paper. Great tennis lessons. Nice spa and fitness center with a variety of Pilates, yoga and spin classes. Good proximity to Del Mar and La Jolla for beach and restaurants. Really enjoyed the week we spent here. It was a shame to leave for the day to visit the San Diego Zoo or other attractions.

Amazing room in the garden cottage. Very cozy fireplace , quiet and a short walk to dinner. Concierge Alessia S was outstanding and made our stay even better. Dinner at Lillians was fantastic as was our waiter Sam. Overall 5 stars and we will be back.

My wife, 2 year old, and 6 month old stayed at this hotel for 3 nights (buy 2 nights get one free). Upon check in I asked if there were any available upgrades. After checking, they gave us a free upgrade with an amazing view. The entire time we were there the staff was extremely nice. They gave my kids toys on three separate occasions. There are 2 toddler pools and there are lounge areas where the kids can play in the sand (a mock beach). As soon as we sat in the sand area the staff came...

Hotel is great, service, facilities, room, everything.
The only thing that put me off, was the "resort fee" : $25 daily.
I was told this covers: coffee in the room (which any hotel of lesser quality, has), Wi-Fi, (which went on an off all the time), and pool services, such as towels!!!!!
Rates are not cheap, so I didn't like that on top of the bill, I had to add $150 more, for things I take for granted.
