"This is a gorgeous property but not for anyone who does not plan on commuting by boat to do anything than wander its island. The Hotel shuttle costs €15 per person per stay and doesn't start until 9am. I wanted to begin seeing Everything in Venice early so either pay private water taxi or take public boats... which if full.. you have wait for next one. The Staff are wonderful and room gorgeous but if you want to go back forth shopping and such, its just not convenient. "

"Wonderful and unique, the property feels like it belongs in the renaissance era. Charming with plenty of opportunities for stunning pictures. Skip the breakfast as it is mediocre at best and considering the fact you are in food heaven there are many better options available nearby. Be advised that the hotel will not provide an iron or kettle as the fire danger is a concern. "

"This place is amazing. It is super easy to get to the main islands but it gives you a break from the crowds. The hotel was wonderful. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The food was terrific (still dreaming about the breakfasts) and the balcony was a world-beating location for a spritz. We didn’t use the spa because we have a young family but I’m sure that was amazing too. Lido is so relaxing for a walk around. "

"The hotel was new and very clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We had breakfast at the hotel during our short stay and it was delicious. The restaurant itself was pristine and uniquely decorated even for Venice. It was modern with a touch of antiquity. It's one of the highest structures in Venice which gave exceptional views of San Marco. We found the bar to be cozy and beautifully presented. Looking forward to our next stay at Nokinski."

"We loved everything about Palazzo Maria Formosa. The hotel is beautiful with so much history. Quirky in places which adds to the charm and tells a story. Staff are brilliant. Very attentive. Nothing is too much trouble. Our room was gorgeous and with a view of the square. They have their own dock for the taxi to drop and pick you up. Breakfast is great.
