「The property is located a 15-minute walk from the Pitlochry Station and is located on top of a hill. I would suggest taking a taxi if you have luggage. The property itself is beautiful and clean. Our room was quiet even though it was located near to the pub. We enjoyed walking the grounds as well. Lots of nice walking trails. The location is walkable to town and to the Blair Distillery which made things easy. 」

「Very comfortable stay at Ballathie House Hotel! We stayed for two nights, Enjoyed walking the grounds and by the landscaped garden near the River Tay. We also played croquet, and badminton! 「What’s not to like!! The hosts, Jane and Calum, are friendly and welcoming. We felt like we were staying with family. Our room was spacious, well decorated and comfortable. 「We had a wonderful stay at Murrayshall. This was our second visit, having stayed around 18 months ago in the wintertime. It was nice to see the hotel at a different time of year, but the rooms, staff and excellent dinner in Eilos remained the same. A very good stay. The only thing that could have been better was breakfast - it seemed a little disorganised. 」

「The hotel was very clean, the staff were helpful, and it centrally located.」

「Meikleour Arms is a unique inn on a large estate (hence "Arms," which refers to the coat of arms of the estate owner. Cozy inn, delicious meals (venison from the estate, for instance), lots of personality. We loved staying here, and fishing with Ian, the "ghillie" who put me onto a beautiful sea trout and taught me how to cast a spey rod. 」
