"Beautiful hotel in great location across from Central Park. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable with nice amenities in the bathroom. The only little couple of things were that the wifi isn't great, it would be nice to see QTips and cotton swabs in the bathroom and of course a coffee/Nespresso machine for the room. I get that they want people to pay for coffee downstairs but for almost $800 a night that begins to feel very nickely-dimey of them. Overall an excellent place to stay "

"Great location to numerous sights and plenty dining options. Staff was accommodatng and our request was handled immediately. Rooms are clean with amemities as coffee maker, moni fridge and microwave. Alsp complementary coffee offered in the lobby in the morning. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Hotel is adorable and the staff was generally very friendly. I will say that it is a little difficult to navigate the elevator, at least the first couple of times, and it is not clear how to find the cafe. It’s really a fun place though with a great design for the rooms. Very clean!!!"

"The Freehand is in a convenient area to walk to many destinations and its also only one block from a subway line. The staff was all courteous and answered any questions we had. The rooftop bar is a nice option to spend time with a group. We also enjoyed the unique art and furniture in our room and the charm of the old renovated public areas."

"Really liked the history of the hotel. Large lobby and entrances on two streets was handy. Lots of staff. Three restaurants made it very convenient as well. Room was very small but that was expected. "
