"The operation of the television was too confusing to even use. The most part I was engaged in other activities and not extremely interested in watching television. I was told that I had access to items that I had forgotten in a closet by the elevator there are a lot of things but no toothbrush which I was told was there these are the biggest negatives of the whole trip. Beyond that staff was extremely friendly and helpful both check in and check out. The bed was extremely comfortable I almost didn't want to leave. The room was small the bathroom was smaller. But it was functional at the same time a shower a sink and a commode looks like it belong on a private jet"

"AVOID!!! This place is disgusting. Stains and heavy wear and tear throughout room. Half the outlets didn’t work, the room REAKED of smoke, and there was a rusty piece of metal just laying on the floor. The staff member who checked us in acted like we were an inconvenience and barely spoke to us except for short clipped sentences. When we came to complain about the smoke she just said “okay” and handed us this canister that resembled a flea bomb that sprayed citrus everywhere. It smelled awful. Our key cards didn’t work and we had to get new ones. The breakfast they served was pathetic. No hot food and my orange was rotten! So disappointing and nothing like the quality the pictures on the website showed. "

"Pool was out of order, from previous posts seems like this is a common occurrence. Room was HOT despite turning the air down, the room remained uncomfortably hot. Tiles on the floor were held together with masking tape. Happy hour and breakfast were a nice bonus but expected more for the price "

"I was able to check in early. The first room I was assigned was filthy and run down. Dust everywhere, excrement stains all over the side and back of toilet, rust and mildew in the tub, paint falling off the ceiling, stains on the sheets and walls, and hair everywhere. I went downstairs and noted the issue and was given another room. The new room was one 1.5 steps above the other on the cleanliness scale. Luckily i brought gloves, lysol wipes, and trash bags (they dont give you trash bags). I spent about 30mins making the room livable between inspecting the sheets to make sure they werent dirty (clean sheets this time and mattress covers) and cleaning the surface areas and bathroom. The beds are firm and pillows are lousy. I had to pile all 4 pillows together just to get any kind of next support. They gave me a credit for “The Art Bar” which we used for breakfast. The staff at the bar seemed like they were exhausted and ready to end the work day (it was 10am). We ordered breakfast sandwiches when we received them, they were burnt to a crisp with no flavor. There are 4 elevators but each morning it took about 10mins to get to the lobby bc they barely worked. Front desk staff was nice but overall, this hotel sucked. I will never ever stay at another Sonesta. Shut this raggedy place down and start over…"
