"We booked this hotel off of its rating and accolades shown in their site. I do feel, however, that it is VERY overpriced. We were disappointed in this upon arriving to Charleston and seeing what other options we had at much better nightly rates (in fact half the cost) based on when we originally booked the room. Every staff member from valet, to check in, to butler service (which is part of the experience), is top-notch! We enjoyed talking to each member of the staff, the ambiance and accommodations. "We had a wonderful stay at Mills House. Centrally located, good service and a lovely patio attached to our room. One significant issue .. the bed pillows were TERRIBLE!! Very uncomfortable. No support. "
