"This was a very cool place to stay and great location. Room was nice and the staff were very helpful - there was one issue with my room and I asked the manager if he would be willing to comp a small part of the mini bar fee which he did so I appreciate that very much. Would definitely recommend the Grand Stark to anyone looking for accommodations in the area."

"We stayed here for a cheer competition. I liked that it was walking distance to the convention center and I felt pretty safe. The area outside the hotel was nicely kept and no homeless people were around, like the other hotels in Portland. The staff was super helpful and friendly, I will definitely be staying here again!"

"The room was gorgeous!The staff was kind. I love the drinks and snacks in the evenings and the Christmas tree was beautiful. They also have a valet for a small price. The pool is a beautiful salt water pool and the hot tub was wonderful as well. I will definitely book a room here again. "
