「Good service, friendly reception.」

「The room was not clean and had an unpleasant odor upon arrival. The hallway on the first day also smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and sewage, which made for an uncomfortable experience. The bathroom was dirty, there were no towels provided, and the Keurig machine was not working. On a positive note, the valet service was excellent—very friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the stay.」

「This is an exceptional place to stay, worth a few miles out of your way. Old school mansion hotel, building is new 2016. So best of both worlds. 」

「We checked in and when we got to our room, it was not the room I reserved. It was a smaller room for our 7 people. They didn’t tell me the had changed my reservation. The couldn’t accommodate us with anything bigger. Staff didn’t seem to care at the inconvenience to us. Very disappointing experience. I asked for a discount price, but the said I had to go through Expedia.」

「Our room was not what we expected from this Hotel. A used wash cloth was hanging in the shower and the desk chair was rusted and hold torn material. Stink bugs on the shower wall. We got in late after driving 11 hours so we didn’t notice until morning. We left for a funeral for the day so we didn’t want to pack up and change rooms. The Hotel offered to reimburse for one night. Expedia has not been responsive.」
