Pink Princess phone, Crossley record player with great jazz classic LPs (we listened to the Coltrane/Ellington session), and beautiful, funky mosaic tile in the bathroom. Two complaints: weak shower pressure, and the air conditioner didn’t cool as well as we'd like. But we would definitely go back and stay longer the next time we're in Charlottesville. "

"This has become an annual trip for my family. Very relaxing. Love spending hours at the rec center. The property is cool. Actually received brand new living room furniture on our second day. Only complaint would be the out dated TVs in the bedroom. I’m sure they’ll be changing those soon"

"The Valley Extended Suites is a clean, modern hotel that provides good value. Whether for a few days or just overnight, it has what is needed for an enjoyable stay. The only issue we had was with the thermostat on the HVAC system. While the system worked adequately, we had to turn the desired temperature way down (62 degrees) before the room was comfortable enough to sleep. Once we figured that out, it worked fine, but when we set it at the temp we wanted (68/69 degrees), the room was still...
