"Checked in late at night so didn’t experience much. Parking was sketchy for hotel. Stayed for a total of 12 hours - overnight sleep and out in the morning. Hotel is eerie. Elevators are old, creeky and increased my anxiety. Hallways are dimly lit, not bright enough, Felt like I may have been in a suspense movie. Other than that stay was quiet, tv worked, room was clean. Hotel staff were adequate. However, would not stay again due to the feeling of not wanting to leave my room for the fear of...

"Location: great, off the highway and close to San Diego Cleanliness: overall good, old bones of motel show in parts but well kept, old tubbing in bathroom but clean. Pool: loud music playing from pool in early morning, small pool but nice, lots of children and families with children Pros: free bikes, great cafe attached to motel (cheaper rate for motel guests) Cons: loud music at pool, children yelling "

"Beautiful property and the staff was very welcoming. The pool area was beautiful and serene. My wife loved the Koi pond and parrots. The walk out terrace was very pleasant and a nice way to start each morning. Highly recommend this resort for a nice relaxing getaway. (Note: we were not there when there were concerts.)"

"Very clean and spacious. Plenty of dining options near the hotel. Breakfast was included for us, but if you like variety or have particular expectations of having different breakfast experiences daily, then you will appreciate having dining options nearby to break the monotony."

"The staff was personable and accommodating. Love the location, it was close to the zoo, gas lamp quarter, downtown. I would still get a car rental to be able to move around town, but the hotel is lovely. Pool and hot tub is amazing, and you have the bay right at the back of the hotel. Family friendly, the rooms clean. "
