The Jackson SouthTown
8/10 Good
"The refrigerator is big enough, but no pots in the kitchen."
Sandman Hotel & Suites Kelowna
8/10 Good
"The property has clearly had a remodel but the bathroom doesn't seem to be all that upgraded just more or less a face lift. Other than that the stay was good"
Banff Rocky Mountain Resort
10/10 Excellent
"This resort has great location, close to the freeway and just 2 minutes from downtown Banff. We booked a room with loft and it felt like a furnished studio-type apartment. It has a kitchen, equipped with a good size refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee-maker and cooking and dining utensils. It has 1 and a half bath, full bath with shower/tub by the loft and a half bath in the main room. There is a pull-out sofa bed in the main room where a small dining set and a study table is placed, and a queen bed in the loft. This was perfect for us because we are a couple and travelled with our son. My husband and I took the loft and our son took the sofa bed in the main room. It gave us a lot of privacy in the evening, as opposed to when booking a 2 bed hotel room in which you can easily get into each other's faces, especially if it is for more than just a night. They also have a bbq area, pool, basketball courts and plenty of parking spaces. There is also a restaurant on site offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. The check in and check out process was easy, staff were friendly."

What is the difference between a 4-star and 3-star hotel in Rocky Mountains?
The big difference between a 3- and 4-star hotel in Rocky Mountains is the quality of service and access to creature comforts. Three-star hotels are typically more budget-friendly and provide the services and amenities required to be comfortable, such as a gym, breakfast and WiFi. You can look forward to a bit more at a 4-star hotel — think upmarket décor, luxury toiletries and extra touches like day spas.
