「Beautiful, clean, great location」

「The lovely Hotel Villa Santa Catarina is Guatemalan-owned. Beautiful two pools, great view of the lake, and a short tuk-tuk ride to Panajachel. The restaurant on site is fantastic for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Room was spacious - no A/C, but not a problem with the cool lake breeze at night.」

「Loved the place, the only problem is the rooms are not sound proof you can hear the party going on in the nearby bars. But this place is beautiful.」

「The room are pretty old and dirty, I think they need to remodel the room specific the bathroom, not enough hot water after 15 minutes taking bath. I paid extra for the bathtub, and it was extremely dirty and old. It’s not worth to pay it for. Car park extra charge , not even can offer water inside the room being 3 stars hotel. The staff service is ok, no experience but polite . I’m not Recommend this hotel. Absolutely No for what I paid for」

「Room 1 shares a wall with reception and all hours of the day and night people are out there talking or ringing the buzzer. There’s also a night club that’s quite loud as well. Location is good but if you’re a light sleeper I would give this one a miss as quiet hours don’t appear to be a thing. Room was clean-ish. There was a large booger smeared across the bathroom wall. Positive: location and staff. 」
