「When we arrived at around 1pm, I asked front desk if we can check in earlier, they said no room available at the moment, told me to come back at around 2.30pm, so we came back at 2.30pm, they said they’re still cleaning the room, told us either waiting at the lobby or they contacted us when the room is ready, so we chose wait at the lobby. 「My family loves staying amongst the trees. Budget friendly and very clean. Water pressure is good and beds are comfortable. Restaurant, bar, and ice cream on site. Get the house fries if you are eating breakfast. Bar area has a pool table and shuffle board which kept my family entertained while I enjoyed an ice cold beverage. Staff was very friendly. I would stay here again if in the area. 」

「The location of the hotel is great, lots of dining and shopping very close.. easy walk to the beach. The hotel is small and very nice. The staff was helpful and friendly. The only issue was the pull out sofa bed was very small and uncomfortable for an adult. 」

「It is on the beach called by the locals "The Cove". It's an older property, but very well maintained, and very clean. Each room and cottage has it's own door to the outside. The staff is great and eager to please; they immediately address any concerns or issues you have. Lots of good restaurants in Santa Cruz, and several beaches near by. It is now my Santa Cruz hotel of preference The bed was too soft for my taste. 」
