When we checked in on Friday June 20th, we realized there was no hand soap anywhere in our hotel room. We informed the front desk that we had no hand soap. We were told their shipment was delayed and they had no hand soap. We were told to buy our own.
Upon check out, we informed the assistant manager Rolando of the soap situation. He told us they still had not received the shipment. Which means no one in the hotel had hand soap for at least the entire weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). We were not offered any replacement soap. Management was aware of the issue and made no step to rectify the situation.
This is a health and safety concern I took very seriously, especially from a reputable large chain hotel. People traveling from all over are staying at this hotel and do not have a means to wash their hands after using the restroom etc. This violation was made worse by the fact that management was fully aware of the situation and did nothing to change it, even knowing that they are violating the health code.
