"Clean, comfortable, well appointed throughout, and walking distance from downtown shops and restaurants for a less touristy alternative to Healdsburg. Expect wholesome and freshly prepared breakfasts like a vegetable frittata, house made yogurt, or an apple Dutch pancake, and appreciate that many of the the ingredients were grown on-site as you stroll through the Inn’s lovely garden. Will definitely return."

"What an amazing trip and stay at the Ruse. From the minute we booked the Stay and Play, Christine at the front desk, was so helpful to answer questions and make our trip spectacular. I cannot say enough about the property and the breakfasts! The 18 hole putting green was so fun. Beds were very comfortable, the golf at the Mayacama was outstanding. We have already decided we are coming back next year."

"Property manager canceled our reservation at 11:45a the same day as check in for our Expedia booking. Offered to move us to an adult only AirBNB for adjusted pricing, but not a discounted price for inconvenience. When I called to clarify what maintenance issue occurred, he was flustered and just kept referencing it was 'complicated' and then a variety of different potential issues. This was business decision with overbooking or re-booking another party at a higher rate. We expect properties on...

"Beautiful grounds… clean and quiet "

"Gorgeous place to stay in nice. The area is not so great but this is the best place by far on the lake. I even caught a couple fish from the pier. "

"Lovely old inn with charm and character, but in need of some repairs and a bit of a facelift. It has the land and potential to be more than it currently is: some touch up paint and maybe some cornhole or croquet in the backyard. Complimentary wine and homemade chocolate chip cookies and delicious breakfast. All in all a nice place to stay in walking distance of the square with restaurants and shops."

"Beautiful property! You have access to the trails right next to the ocean and it was the prettiest walk I’ve ever been on. The rooms are well designed with convenience in mind - remote control lighting, outlets, B&O portable speaker, etc etc. The staff are also super friendly and helpful.
