「The hotel's promotional photos greatly lowered the hotel's grade, because I think the actual environment of the hotel is much better than in the photos, completely beyond my imagination, the room is very clean and tidy and the scenery is extremely beautiful, the only drawback is that there is no ham sausage for breakfast」

「Continental breakfast was small but sufficient: Greek yogurt, fresh fruit, granola, hard boiled eggs. The pastries weren’t amazing but this hotel also doesn’t have an in house bakery. 「I was under the impression that this hotel was a 5 star facility but it is absolutely not. It has a lovely lobby and the pre-check-in experience was fine but when I arrived, there was no one around except someone who looked like he didn't even work there. No one came to the door to help with bags, and there was no doorman even though the main wooden doors are extremely heavy to open. The person behind the reception barely looked up, offered zero assistance, and provided no information at all...

「Oh this place is beautiful. The main Lodge is a gorgeous building, full of fascinating books and accessories for sale. (Not to mention the sweetest cats). Stanford has the only indoor pool and hot tub for 100 miles. The restaurant was hot garbage, but Mendocino is chock full of wonderful places to eat.」
