「The bathroom shower did not have shampoo or soap in the dispensers and there’s dirt around the floor the edges The hallway and the stairwell going down was filthy The downstairs bathroom and the lobby was filthy and unrepaired drywall, and the trashcan overflowing Overall, a nice hotel but it’s not being maintained and slowly going downhill The staff was really nice to deal with, and the bids were comfortable Just need to do a better job of cleaning and maintaining」

「Stained, worn furniture, inside & outside. Stained, worn rugs throughout. Breakfast offerings subpar, with dirty plates, unfriendly staff. Questionable people hanging around the property. Would never stay at this property again.」

「Sink has a large crack which has been filled with grout or other material. Bed clothes and towels were clean. Carpet appeared dirty. Breakfast very limited. No black tea, fruit, or waffles. The hotel appears old and tired. Needs a renovation. Appeared to be short staffed. Expect more from a Marriott. 」

「The Oaks Victorian Inn is a beautiful old house. Well appointed, spotlessly clean, and friendly efficient staff. Our breakfast was delicious and delivered with a smile. Check in is easy self service, however the proprietors we don’t think live on the property. And if that is an issue for you, it’s good to know going into your stay. I would definitely recommend. Great stay! 」
