「We found the Inn while searching for a hotel for my son’s LAX tournament at UMass Amherst. It was a 20 min, easy drive and provided a quiet refuge from the hustle and bustle of the day! The room was well appointed and extremely clean. Loved the mill vibe and relaxing deck. The staff were extremely friendly and kind, letting us grab breakfast a few mins early as we had to be back at the field for Sunday morning. Would definitely recommend and stay again.」

「The host was on site when we arrived and greeted us graciously and efficiently. The room was clean and spacious, with a beautifully renovated bathroom (Room 5). The bed was a bit soft for our taste, but comfortable. There was no place to hang clothes, but there was plenty of drawer space in the bureau and bed stands. The reservation portal indicates the room has a hair dryer and a microwave oven, but it does not. They are still in renovation mode, so the outer appearance of the property still...

「THE NUTMEG LIVED UP TO WHAT WE WERE EXPECTING. THE ONLY COMPLAINT WAS CLIMBING UP TO THE UPSTAIRS WAS DIFFICULT...BUT BECAUSE THE BUILDING WAS VERY OLD...NOTHING CAN BE DONE TO CORRECT THIS ISSUE. BUT WE SURVIVED IT!」

「This little guest house is a gem. Charming, comfortable and with a location that can’t be beat as a base for touring the northern Berkshires and southern Vermont. Everything was in good order, check-in was easy, and the place is well equipped with kitchen essentials. The views are gorgeous. 」
