「I had a very pleasant stay at the Taos Inn. It’s close to everything and carries the old charm you just don’t find in cookie-cutter rooms. The character of the inn is a true plus. A meal at Doc Martin’s is a must, and don’t miss a late patio visit with a cocktail while people-watching the patrons of Taos. The Taos Inn is now a must-stay on my return trips.」

「The La Fonda is a beautiful old hotel. Paying for parking in the rear was so worth it. We came and left frequently, going to historical sites and Taos Pueblo. We were able to sample some local cuisine in the hotel restaurant and the owner was very informative, telling us about the history of his people and the foods they prepare(d). 「I only stayed for a day but it was a stay to remember. The check in time was later than I’m used to but you have your own parking spot reserved with your room, you walk though a beautiful garden to get to the room, we reserved the storyteller suite, so our view faces the setting sun which was gorgeous. I don't think the photos really do justice - the place was a lot bigger than I expected and they have EVERYTHING - coffee, cups, plates, microwave, soap. It was a wonderful stay. Definitely coming back. I don't remember telling them that it was my sons birthday, but sure enough a "Happy Birthday Cameron" cake was waiting and a bottle of wine on ice for me!! Made my day!!」
