"Unfortunately, the reception staff were a little rude and inaccurate, particularly telling me my credit card was declined when I actually had a receipt and my incidental payments and already gone through so that makes up making me feel uncomfortable and we’re actually quite short and on check out I had a bill, but I had pre-paid so I had no expenses and they were telling me Not to worry about it but I wasn’t going to press a build it I had to pay for "

"This was our first time staying at the Marshal House. We were able to check in early and park in the public garage behind the hotel. Very convenient and cheaper than the valet parking. They offered free water, coffee and tea all day. They provided a wine and cheese happy hour everyday between 5 and 6:30 with entertainment. Breakfast each morning. Great location for walking everywhere. Very historic building and very welcoming! "

"The hotel was very nice, the room was clean and had all the amenities that you need. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and had more items than most hotel breakfast. The only downfall was the parking situation. I do understand it is in downtown Savannah but we were not able to take advantage of the hotel parking behind the building and could not fit in the paid parking garage (truck too big to fit under the clearance). "Loved this hotel!! My dd and I stopped here for 1 night on the way home from a very long drive. The sheets are GLORIOUS!! Truly one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in!! VERY clean. Only issue was the free breakfast is bagels only. I’m gluten free, so this was a no-go for me. I was able to purchase hard boiled eggs from the market. Coffee is good and strong. Will definitely stay here again. "

"The place looked nice, my only concern is the jacuzzi. The water looked kind of brown, and it has some really weird steps which could be a serious fall issue for someone. Theres a gravely feel to the bottom like the grout or the rocks are falling apart which could be the reason for the brown water. The steps are really deep, best advice sit on the edge and go down slowly and carefully. The room itself was really nice, clean, compy bed, with a walk in shower. "Overall it was a good stay. However, it was the “little things” that irritated me. The iron was broken, the shade were broken we lift them up and the turntable in the microwave was missing."

"Beautiful hotel with a very friendly staff. Location is close to beginning of River walk.The hotel has bikes and umbrellas to use which was a big bonus as we used both. The room does have coffee but they charge you for it downstairs in morning because you have to get it from their restaurant. Wish they would have had some out in lobby for hotel guests free of charge."

"The property is nice, the rooms are clean, the staff is very attentive and helpful. The only issue is outside the hotel. Its located in a party area that gets loud and gritty and somewhat ghetto. But i would definitely recommend the hotel as is, its a great hotel. Just wish the area around was as good. "
