"The staff was very helpful; they fixed the light over the bed. But the icemaker on the first floor doesn't work, so you have to go up to the third floor to get ice. The grounds are somewhat trashy. The breakfast is junk food. But the staff compensates for the negatives by being friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The A/C unit was loud, but it helped to cover the noise from the other guests. Overall, I would say that it's a pretty decent value for the money. The rate on the weekend is lower than what you will find in Sandusky, where the rates are high due to the summer tourist season."

"So many things. First the staff was very friendly, and courteous. That is the end of the positive. The doors while they would lock occasionally if you nudged the bottom doorknob side of the door would open any room. We checked this worked almost every time. Rooms were disgusting. Non smoking room smelled of cigarettes. Sheets had many holes in them from cigarettes. Towels were white at some point, but clearly had a multitude of colors on them now, AND holes for good fun. Ceiling was white, but many shades of colors from years of smoking. Water pressure sometimes was good, and other times dribbled out. This hotel is very cheap, but there is a line between cheap and nasty. This place very much crosses it."
