"I had work at town"

"Great stay on our way to NY. Great location < in the woods> , super friendly staff, clean super comfy bed, continental breakfast and Great rate"

"The room was decent. There was no coffee maker in the room like there should have been. There was only a desk chair that needed to be cleaned. There was plenty of room for another chair. The towel bar was missing."

"Room was very clean and nicely appointed"

"Clean, well-designed and decorated. Easy check-in! Enjoyed being surrounded by nature but also having Devils Backbone Brewpub across the street."

"Very nice historical inn, comfortable bed, great home cooked breakfast!"

"Great place to stay while visiting the beautiful town of Amherst. Nice room and the staff very friendly and helpful. Would certainly recommend the Amherst Inn."

"Harmony Hill was a great place to spend a quiet night after exploring the area. It was very clean, and the hosts Mary and Bill were kind and attentive. Breakfast was abundant and well prepared, and my husband's dietary needs were well attended to. We enjoyed!"

"Good location, very spacious for 4 guests. Excellent choice of LVP flooring instead of carpeting as there was significant rainfall both days of the visit that would have suffered wet shoes on departures and arrivals at the house."

"Very friendly staff. Charming place"

"Fantastic place to stay for two or a small family. Lots of fish, deer, and wildlife. Easy instructions to get in. The hosts are very friendly and quick to respond. I highly recommend this little tucked away gem."

"Cleanliness and ease of check in"

"The cabin is cute, but the property beside it looks down on the cabin so not much privacy or a view. There's no dishwasher, oven, or even a hair dryer here. When it rains the water turns rusty, thus is not drinkable and they don't leave bottled water for you or offer to help with that so that limits showers, toilets turned rusty, couldn't make coffee etc. The property was a little overgrown when we arrived as well. But a person came while we were there and cut the grass."

"The place was absolutely beautiful and spotless. The view was amazing. The only issue we had was when we asked where it was. We were told Nellysford and didn’t really understand that it was part of the Wintergreen resort so it was much further away from our actual destination. But the place was really amazing. We would stay there again."
