"I had 6 rooms for a weeding for the weekend (Frida and Saturday) and all guests were very pleased with the entire stay. Property was clean and well lit. The staff on duty was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed when we arrived after the ceremony. I really appreciated the breakfast that was provided, good food, nice and hot, and a great variety of things to choose from. Would not hesitate to stay again or recommend to family and friends!"

"The Appomattox Inn & Suites compares favorably to a Hampton Inn. The property is well maintained and offers several amenities, including a small fitness center, a pool, and a complimentary hot breakfast each morning. Guests can also enjoy a cozy bar area that serves wine and beer. We stayed in a king suite and were pleasantly surprised by its spaciousness and comfort. The room was exceptionally clean, well appointed, and very comfortable. While some of the décor may be considered slightly dated, it was still attractive and everything was in excellent working order. The standout feature of our stay was the staff. From the moment we arrived until the morning we departed, every employee was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and eager to help, making our experience especially enjoyable."

"Overall our stay was very comfortable. The towels were clean and fresh and the bed and linens were extremely comfortable and nice. We loved the fresh baked cookies on the first night and wished they were provided daily as a nice touch. Soft drinks in the fridge would have been a nice alternative to only juices. Service in the dining room was excellent but breakfast on day 1 was average, however, day 2 was very good. We truly enjoyed our lunch at Pippin Hill Vineyard next door."

Longacre of Appomattox

"My husband and I stayed for three nights at Longacre. The owner is very kind. The house is spacious, but I did find it to be a little dated. We stayed in the manor room which was very big but seems like it was decorated from the early 90s. Also, there was no option to lower the temperature in the room, so I had to use a fan from the closet to try to cool the room down. The grounds behind the house are beautiful and peaceful."
