"The lodge is comfortable and great food at the restaurant. WiFi only in the lodge not the rooms. Comfortable beds. Beautiful surroundings. We had a rustic cabin with shared bathrooms and the bathrooms were very clean and fresh smelling. "
"We stayed at Hickory House Inn for our 9-year anniversary and had such a wonderful experience! The town is absolutely charming, and everyone we met was so warm and welcoming. We stayed in the Sister Gilmary Room, which was spotless, cozy, and had a very comfortable bed. The shower had great water pressure—always a bonus!
Breakfast was phenomenal—delicious, homemade, and clearly made with care. Shawn was an incredible host—so kind, attentive, and fun to chat with. He really made us feel right at home.
We’re already looking forward to coming back and would love to try one of the other rooms next time. Highly recommend Hickory House Inn for a relaxing and memorable getaway!"
"Pet friendly. There were no questions or extra fees. The room was very clean and had hard laminate floors. Dog cleanup bag station in the yard. The pool and hot tub were clean, warm/hot, and well maintained. I would definitely stay again. It's a few miles off I-90, but we continued traveling on the M-1 scenic road and it was a beautiful alternative to I-90 for about an hour. Did not lose any time and very scenic."
