I had a great stay at Payment by Wyndham Punta Gorda Port Charlotte. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist and offer helpful recommendations about places to visit in the area.
The hotel itself was very clean and well-maintained, and I felt safe during my entire stay. Parking was easy and convenient, which made coming and going stress-free.
The room was quiet and comfortable — perfect for a good night’s sleep. I also appreciated the complimentary breakfast, which was a nice bonus to start the day.
Overall, a reliable and pleasant stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Punta Gorda or Port Charlotte area.

"I was here for a convention so we didn't have the chance to take advantage of everything but I will return for pleasure. Wonderful food options, so many ways to relax... I'm leaving this review because there's a staffer who worked with the catered food for the Florida Media Conference: Courtland. He went above and beyond (I have celiac) to make sure I knew which foods were safe. Please thank him for me and know that you need to reward him for being a huge part of making the experience here one I would gladly repeat. The food was amazing, too!"
"The Wyvern Hotel was very modern and clean. The room was huge with a nice lounging sofa in the room, and is very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is large with a beautiful shower and a separate jacuzzi tub. The rooftop bar was great-what a view! The only negative thing that I have to mention is that the air conditioning in the room smells very musty which was very disturbing. They need to either change the filters or there may be mold growing. This definitely needs to be addressed. Every time the air conditioner shut off and came back on you got that strong musty smell. Would I stay there again? Absolutely! I hope the a/c is addressed before I do!"
