"Nice location on the beach. Room was nice, perhaps getting somewhat aged but that was reflected by the price. A bit longer walk in to Makkum itself, but doable and safe. We picked it for the water view and easy access to laundry facilities, right nearby, for the midpoint of our trip."

"Unusual room configaration with desk jutting into room and three chairs to sit on made it feel more homely and less like a hotel room. The bathroom was a good size but tucked away around a corner, also good. Big windows that ipened also a bonus. Very light and airey."

"Welcoming hotel with friendly staff. We arrived early, from the ferry, at 11:00 and they had a room ready for us. This allowed us to park straight away and explore the area, lots going on as it was King’s Day.

We had a late ferry on check out day and it was okay to leave the car all day after we’d checked out. We hired cycles from the hotel on our last day.
