「Really cool historic hotel, the staff was awesome, parking was easy. The whole town is very walkable from the hotel, the private hot springs were clean and nice. Breakfast was great, my wife and I stay in Lava 1/2 times a year and this was a great experience. 」

「It’s an older property, so what we expected . The room was clean & cozy. Great walking path behind the property to walk your dog. Hot pools are right across the street. It would be nice if there was coffee in the room. I did see a coffee pot in the lobby, but we were on the road before the lobby opened; the diesel truck out front needed to warm up from 5:30am-6am, so we were awake!! 」

「The cabins are so clean, comfortable and very close to everything. The fire pit was such a great addition to our stay. Overall this is the best place to stay when visiting Lava Hot Springs. 」

「Second time staying at the Hillside. Love it here!! Spacious room with small couch, TV...comfortable, clean beds. Large shower, shampoo conditioner and body wash included & clean fluffy towels. Games under the beds for entertainment, patio with tables and chairs to lounge with partial view of the town. My only suggestion is if you drink coffee, bring your own sugar and cream. We'll book here every time!! You won't regret staying here!」
