"Very nice hotel located in a quiet and idyllic village. Easy to reach by car, bike or even public transport (bus stop right behind the corner). In the village itself there are not many services - no proper restaurants outside of the hotel and only a little shop in the center. However this was perfect for us and in any case bigger town nearby can be reached very quickly by car. "Fantastic location on Stoos, just minutes walk from the funicular cable train, Morschach gondola, and chair lifts going up to Fronalpstock.
We opted for the halfboard option. breakfast was great, Dinner was a set menu each night with different options. Service was great. We have a 1.5 year old, and a high chair, toys, colouring activities and child friendly plates were always ready at our table each meal.
The spa was clean and very well equipped. Highly recommend getting the spa add on.
They have a partnership with Stoos , which has a really good kids play area which was free to use for guests at Wellness Hotel Stoos.

"This hotel was absolutely wonderful and made our trip to Engleberg so worth the detour we took to go there. The staff was excellent with the most note worthy service being provided by Freya and Lazio. We stayed in the Epoque room which was one of the loveliest beautifully appointed rooms with rounded windows but modern Scandinavian style furniture and a gorgeous up to date bathroom! And the bed was extremely comfortable. We had an outstanding experience and highly recommend this property. "
"Great hotel super easy parking for even with a large SUV. The facilities are excellent great pool and sauna. The breakfast was first rate. We stayed one night but this would be a great base for a ski holiday.
The hotel is situated in a new development although we didn’t notice any noise from construction. There were three or four dining options on the doorstep but we chose to walk the ten minutes into the old town where there were a dozen or more places to choose from. "

"Bellevue Hotel is great! It’s almost the oldest hotel in Engelberg, but the hotel is very unique, stylish and clean. Very European style. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The most amazing part is the view from the balcony, love it!"
"Amazing location. The only problem and it is minor, is that the check-in process is a bit confusing. A little nerve wracking standing in a foreign space wondering if you're going to have a room. Overall though, we'd go back. "
