"When I arrived the room smelled like fish. I requested a new room. I was told “well we’re by the ocean.” The ocean didn’t smell as fishy as the room. I did like that it was within walking distance to restaurants and close to the cruise port. I won’t stay here again. I only stayed because my usual hotel wasn’t available. "

"This was out second night here. Our first night was a mess, and I wrote a review reflecting that. Things began to get better last night with the service received after our calls and visit to the front desk concerning our overflowing toilet issue we had a chat with kevin at the front desk this morning. Kevin cared. He took time to listen, take notes, most of all offer a sincere apology. He wiped out our extra fees, gave us honors credits, and moved us to a much more appropriate room. This...

"What I enjoyed most was the support staff and their efforts and enthusiasm to making sure our stay was a pleasant experience. Upon our first visit to the poolside restaurant Arlene was our server, very professional and pleasant, so pleasant we requested her service each morning 4 days upon arrival to the restaurant, she would greet us with a smile and outstanding attitude to serve us in our many breakfast endeavors. Also there was Melody at the front desk who greeted us with a warm welcome to the resort! Her attention to detail and excellent customer service skills were beyond what we expected. Combined they made a memorable experience one we will not forget. The Hilton Ft Lauderdale Beach Resort is a gem! It houses several dining locations on premises and located within walking distances to great fine dining establishments. We had an amazing experience staying at this hotel! All the best and we hope to visit in the near future. "

"The hotel was really nice and clean. Beach service was great. Front desk was friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping was great. Only thing is - it is pretty far from Miami Beach itself but perfect if you are looking to be away from all the action."
