"We had a room in on the road side of the building and there was ALOT of road noise all night long. Building was not very sound proof inside either- could hear doors shutting from the rooms. Pool was amazing! Comfortable and quaint, and staff was friendly. A lot of things were within walking distance from the hotel, which was a huge plus! "

"When I arrived the room smelled like fish. I requested a new room. I was told “well we’re by the ocean.” The ocean didn’t smell as fishy as the room. I did like that it was within walking distance to restaurants and close to the cruise port. I won’t stay here again. I only stayed because my usual hotel wasn’t available. "

Things began to get better last night with the service received after our calls and visit to the front desk concerning our overflowing toilet issue we had a chat with kevin at the front desk this morning. "What I enjoyed most was the support staff and their efforts and enthusiasm to making sure our stay was a pleasant experience. Upon our first visit to the poolside restaurant Arlene was our server, very professional and pleasant, so pleasant we requested her service each morning 4 days upon arrival to the restaurant, she would greet us with a smile and outstanding attitude to serve us in our many breakfast endeavors. Also there was Melody at the front desk who greeted us with a warm welcome to the resort! Her attention to detail and excellent customer service skills were beyond what we expected. Combined they made a memorable experience one we will not forget. The Hilton Ft Lauderdale Beach Resort is a gem! It houses several dining locations on premises and located within walking distances to great fine dining establishments. We had an amazing experience staying at this hotel! All the best and we hope to visit in the near future. "
