We loved Royal Palms! Very well kept, nice pool area, great location 1 block from beach. Our room was on 3rd floor and no elevators leep that in mind. They helped with our luggage there, but leaving was a bit of work carrying fown 2 flights of stairs. Room was nice, looked like had been recently renovated. Nice rainfall overhead shower. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioner was quite loud kicking off and on, amd some noise from another room were the biggest negatives. Also I was locked out of my room early on checkout day when i went to go and gather my things to leave at 10:50am (11am checkout) was a minor annoyance. Overall we were happy with the Royal Palms and would return!

Fine for a few nights stay, we were here for a wedding. Closest hotel to Bonnet House Museum. Easy walk to the gate which is literally across the street. Minor inconvenience to ask for bath towels, etc, but they give you beach towels by request. Staff is roaming other nearby properties so the front desk door may be locked at times. Just use call button. Lots of outdoor cafes within a block or 2.

The room was dusty with a coffee stain that I wiped off myself on the table. A memoryfoam topper on the bed as the bed was not comfortable. Better pillows.

Convenient location. Resturaunt/Bar is only open Friday and Saturday. Room was dingy in need of a deep clean, paint. Bathtub was rusty, no stopper. Could hear noise from unit above us.

Not much in the way of amenities in the room. About as basic room as you can get. Bed, TV(that doesn’t work unless you sign into your own streaming service), 4 hangers, and that’s pretty much it. For the price we paid $220.00, not worth it.

They booked a party of about 30 of what looked like 18-24 years old. Parties all night. Yelling and stomping around. I messaged the staff and they told me they went “to warn them” to stop making so much noise but that made it worse. My 9 yr old son was scared and couldn’t sleep and I was mad and trying to fix the situation by letting management know. But it didn’t help. The noise got worse. There were several of what looked like early twenties males wearing full ski masks walking around smoking weed and huffing “galaxy gas”. I text them that night and also today as well as emailed them. I’m at least looking for someone to acknowledge my concern and I feel I am due a refund. This was wild.

Location to the beach gets a 10… The hotel room smelled of cleaning supplies when we checked in… There were no local stations on the TV at all… TV in the bedroom did not work… The people above us sounded like they were in our bedroom, pounding around till all hours of the night… Our last night there were people out at the pool drinking hollering running up and down the stairs till past one in the morning… I called at 11. Nothing was ever done. We had to get up early to travel the next day. I would not recommend this place to anybody except for the fact you’re one block from the beach.

Room was clean. TV in BR did not work. Would recommend some type of "non-slip" surface be placed in bathtub - quite a dangerous situation. For an "extended" stay, this would be an acceptable choice - not recommended for the "business traveler" since there's very few amenities onsite.
