"I booked my stay from the 5th to 9th at one Holliday Inn Express Location in Houston. Upon arrival, I approached the front desk to pay for my hotel stay in advance, I was then advised by the hotel manger by the name of Vanessa who assisted with my checkin and gave me their statment upon payment, to which made no sence after calculations showed I was charged an additional 140.00 charge which made my total amount stay 618.00 for a 3 star quality hotel (google is not telling the truth) when as the Manager Vanessa why is there an upcharge of additional 140.00 for a reservation I booked a month in advance? (feb 5th) Mangers reply was [you will need to contact your third party vender] so Called Expedia Sarphak on 03/05 regarding over payment of booked hotel stay at Holliday inn express $494.65 when my balance ŵas as is in my statment 478.00 - 97.00 deposit should've been 381.00 estimate. After explaning this with Sarphak thru Expedia was advised there sending this case for review and please allow 72hrs never recieved a response. I this kind of service is unacceptable for your company. As well this is the irresponsible marketing and it should not be accepted to any person who wants to book within your company. Having hidden fees? I thought that if you book online and you put a deposit down on for it, then the price is locked, PERIOD!!! This honestly, is unacceptable her Expedia as well as Holiday Inn and I will never book with either parties again."

"Shower pressure needs to be better"

"The entire room was dirty, the bed sheets had yellow stains, I had to ask for clean sheets. I slept on top of the covers fully clothed. The room looks nice in the pictures but in person was a disaster. They do not take care of the rooms. There was no tv, no microwave, the mirrors had burn marks, the bed side tables were warped and decaying, but at least there was a full sized fridge and a stove top with nothing to cook with lol. Highly do not suggest. Hotel is in a very sketchy area so proceed with caution. Was even hesitant to use the towel and wash clothes to bathe. Was definitely not worth the price I paid for. Quite frankly this hotel shouldn’t even be listed on Expedia. Probably the worst I’ve ever been catfished by a hotel."

"The room was clean. The noise from the machines outside made sleeping terrible. Water and tv stop working out last day. Had to get dressed at a family members house. When we checked out and told staff. I was told it was a storm and hope I had a good stay. That was it. "

"Dirty, worn room. Faeces on bathroom walls and hairs on mattress. Floor dirty/dusty. Coffee maker in room not fit for use; producing foul contaminated water. Curtains ripped with holes. Smell of marijuana throughout corridors. Staff very unfriendly, even heard arguing behind reception desk. Didn’t raise their heads or look at us during check in. Felt very unwelcome. Staff also Unprofessionally dressed and smoking outside front entrance. Pool area was a joke. Few broken chairs / loungers. Drug paraphernalia strewn around floor. Pool water dirty with flies / debris. No restaurant available for evening meal, even though advertised. Coffee machine out of order. Unavailable food advertised on lift posters. Very very minimalist breakfast. Help yourself to polystyrene plates and plastic cutlery!! Expected to eat breakfast on dirty tables which haven’t been cleaned since being used by guests to eat takeaway the night before. Was so bad we left a day early. Worst hotel ever stayed in!!! Please avoid at all costs."

"During severe weather Saturday evening at the airport, many flights were canceled. After paying hotels.com and receiving a confirmed booking, my credit card had apparently placed a hold on the payment (fraud alert?). By the time I confirmed the payment was legitimate (30seconds later) I was told that there were no rooms available. This hotel might be fine but I would not know. I will remove this bad review once a refund is issued. Zero stars for zero rooms after paying real money. "

"Room smelled like stale cigarettes. There was a leak dripping from the ceiling in our bathroom. Cigarette burns in the sheets."
