"This hotel was really a mixed bag. I was suppose to get some perks with Expedia such as a food and beverage credit and room upgrade. They did not mention any of that when I checked in and I had to inquire. They confirmed the food credit was available, but would not give me an upgraded room. I believe it was because we already settled into our room before inquiring about the upgrade. I will never let the Expedia 'perks' sway me to book a particular hotel again. However, I was able to check in early which was so nice after a long day of traveling. The room was clean, but the window was facing a dark wall. I could not see anything which was a real disappointment. And did not get the upgraded room and in fact, I probably got the absolute worst room in the entire building. I don't think I will stay at this hotel again. The location was in a decent area, but the restaurant attached was awful and we had to walk to find food. I think this hotel is okay."

"What a wonderful staff! The location is fantastic but the staff were engaged, thoughtful, and super friendly. The facility is well thought out and a great perch for meetings "

"It’s not far from Metro stops. Parking near the hotel is a bit of a challenge (out front are posted “No parking, etc.”) It’s a convenient location to WH & Smithsonian. No fridge in the room was kind of lame. The Nespresso machine was nice. Everything is very clean. And they hold bags for you for the day- nice perk . "

"Stairs to enter the property which was awkward at night with suitcases. We checked in at 10 PM and had to wait 10 minutes for the single attendant. The room was good, comfortable bed and well decorated. Close to convention center, easy Uber just felt on the edge of sketchy."

"Shower handle came right off when i turned it on and shower head was not securely fixed to the wall! otherwise not a bad place to stay in dc it gets the job done. minimal amenities but good location, it was quiet and comfortable enough. the room was just a but rough around the edges"

"This quaint inn was an excellent stay in Washington DC. The staff was super nice and helpful. The location was real close to the DC sights (1.3 miles straight down 16th to The White House). Bikes, metro everywhere and it all clicked to provide a fabulous dip in the huge pool of sights and sounds of the nations capital. This is a great place with wonderful people. "

"The hotel room was spacious and clean. The location was great and I had a great salad at the hotel restaurant. The hard part was that the hotel changed over from the Generator Hotel to the Rendale Hotel with new management during the weekend that I stayed there. There was confusion."
