This place is an exceptional value. 24 hour front desk always professional friendly and helpful. Queen room with private bath clean clean clean. Very comfy bed all in lively neighborhood with restaurants cafes and bars all within a 3-5 minute walk. I cannot imagine a better value in Washington DC.

Had a great stay at HighRoad. Great location in the heart of Adams Morgan, and room was lovely and clean. Only thing to bear in mind is there's no lift, which is unideal - that being said, the person at the desk did offer to help with my suitcase if needed.

First time staying at a hostel - though I always get a private room - and I can say I’ve become a return visitor since staying for the first time last year. The room is small, like a micro hotel, with the bathroom sink in the main room, but it’s clean and has all the basics. The staff are helpful, and the common area is great for working or relaxing. It’s located at the edge of Kalorama, with the main road connecting to Adams Morgan - a lively area with plenty of dining options. One thing to note, and the main reason I don’t always stay here, is that it’s about a 15-minute walk from the Metro. It’s not ideal, even though there are bus options and the area is quite walkable.

The hotel is in a great location-wall to metro and restaurants but parking is a major pain. Don’t even try on a weekend nite- the garages are all full. The hotel is also a hostel- we stayed in the hotel. The room is super tiny and there is a ladder to the bed. It works- but there’s no dresser or really a place to put ur stuff. Staff is super nice and all is clean but a warning-there r night clubs on both sides which play music till 3 am and u can hear the vibration in ur room.

Incredible stay. The property is up to date, clean, well maintained, and tasteful. Front desk is friendly, easy check-in and check out, great location.
