"Wonderful 2-night stay here in January. Beautiful hotel and amazing location inside the ancient town. The proprietor Amy spoke excellent English and was super kind. Always making us tea. Breakfast was simple, but very good. I will definitely stay here again when I return."

"It was a very pleasant trip to this hotel. I got a pick up airport to hotel. The manager came to transport our luggages with a kind of motor tricycle because the hotel can not be access by car. You have to walk about 200 m to the hotel which is in the middle of old town.. Breakfast is good "

She helped me booked my roundtrip train tickets from Kunming to Dali. And more. She is a very responsible & helpful individual. "The room is modern and spacious. Excellent location as it’s just next to the old town. Staff is very friendly. As we had 2 rooms, I’ve emailed to the hotel in advance to have it near to each other. It was nice that they did as the hotel’s layout is like a courtyard style. So you can imagine if one has to walk from one building to the other in the cold. It was also great that they had the WeChat services which enable guest to contact the hotel directly for any request. Thought the idea was excellent. Highly recommended! "

"The hotel is new and the rooms are spacious. Excellent location as it’s linked to a big mall with many dining options. But what really stand out is the staff. Though bookings were made via Expedia (we had 2 different arrivals and 2 rooms), I had contacted the hotel directly on many occasions with regards to our late check-in, lower floor rooms, rooms near each other and our dining reservations on New Year’s Eve. Staff was prompt in replying to all my emails by various staff which gave me the assurance that everything will be taken care off before our arrivals. Well done ! Highly recommended. "

"This manor is a wonderful retreat featuring unique and beautifully designed villas. The property was distinctly Chinese in style and quite attractive. The villa I stayed in was well appointed, with a spacious bathroom and heated floors. It also offered a very private, generously sized outdoor yard with a hot tub, as well as a traditional Chinese wooden gazebo, perfect for sipping tea and relaxing. The restaurant was excellent, and Kadi, the general manager, provided truly exceptional service. He was an absolute pleasure. The staff overall was professional, attentive, and responsive to every need. The location is also very convenient for visiting all the major sites. I highly recommend this property when visiting Dali."
