Cute place to go but nothing much to do. My family wanted to enjoy the hot springs so that is all we did.






Unique features of Yufuin Onsen include the hot springs and lake views. Make a stop by Yufuin Stained Glass Museum or Kyushu Yufuin Folk Village while you're exploring the area.

The staff is very nice and the location is lovely. I got a free gift (a small pouch) when I checked in. I stayed here in Nov 2024 and Jun 2025. This property is so beautiful. There is long term construction right next to the property so there is noise during the day. Everything was perfect to have a relaxing time.

Beautiful, traditional Japanese style rooms provide an authentic experience. We enjoyed the breakfast. They did their best to accomodate my wife's gluten free diet needs. The family onsens were a nice option for privacy.

Very nice amenities and great view! Unfortunately, when we arrived, we didn’t know which home we were staying in. We just tried the pin at each of the lockboxes until it worked. A long hike up the volcano pays off, both from the beauty of the walk and the stunning sea and valley views from the peak.

Japan of the 1950s is reproduced in remarkable detail in a museum celebrating the daily life of a recently passed era.

Soft light streaming through colored windows suggests the north of England, but this museum is in the thoroughly Japanese neighborhood of Yufuin.
