"The Hotel was modern, clean with good size rooms and the A/C worked well at all hours not centrally controlled or on timers as other hotels we’ve experienced in this trip. The location has great access to the train station and close enough to walk to the centre of old town. The breakfast was good with plenty of selection."

"We stayed at the holiday inn for an overnight visit to york.. the staff were welcoming & friendly. We had booked a walk-in shower room as i am a mobility scooter user. When we got to the room it was smaller than what we had booked.. the staff apologised & very quickly sorted out a more accessible room it was well maintained.. We didnt eat in the hotel in the evening but had booked breakfast for the following day.. the food was plentiful. Well presented & hot there was also a very good choice..we were parked around the side/back of the hotel it wasn't an issue as there is access into the hotel from thethis was our 1st time staying in an IHG holiday Inn & it won't be our last.. thank you Tadcaster Road York"

"I stayed in a flat. The room was great and so nice to have full kitchen. So conveniently located just around the corner from main bridge into town. Keys were a bit tricky but staff helped me. I would stay again."

"A lovely stay here, brilliant staff, so helpful. Place lovely and clean with everything we needed. The fact we could order food to our room, delivered promptly and by a cheerful member of staff made it all the better after an emotional and long day at a funeral we had travelled up for"

"Lovely very clean room with everything you would expect, helpful staff at check in, great choices at breakfast, english, continental, cereals, fruit all fresh. Parking bit hit miss dependent upon how booked hotel is but usually clears early evening. Very handy for trips into York , handy bus stop right outside with great services."
