Location is perfect, the view is everything. Our 1 bedroom was very spacious and modern. I wish there was a mirror other than just in the bathroom. I stayed with my husband and our kids age 3,9,11. Everyone enjoyed their time. Definitely eat at sun and surf. Highly recommend, will be returning next year!

Good overall, had noisy upstairs neighbors and our deadbolt on the door didn't work. But the place was very clean and the staff was very kind and helpful.

We had a really good stay here with our pet. The place was clean and had all the amenities for a good stay. There was a food truck and an ice cream truck on the premise as they have no restaurant. The trucks were very pricey for the food served to us though it was tasty.The best part was that the beach was right in front and it was a beautiful beach. the water was amazing and dogs are allowed in the morning and in the evening. We had a blast and will probably go every year.

This was my first time in York Maine. There were a lot of hotels/motels and took my shot with Ocean Sand. It looks like the rooms were renovated and it was nice! The staff were very nice and helpful! Would definitely stay there again. Only struggle we had was parking, but it was the Fourth of July weekend. So definitely the reason it was busy!

Motel set up , clean , nice outdoor pool . Fridge in room , no microwave . Not a large room . Parking was difficult , parking directly in front of rooms but none assigned so you had to fend for yourself . Nice area , good for kids , beach and short drive to downtown .

The hotel was lovely, the room was beautiful the front office staff was very sweet and helpful Loved the pool The only flaw was 1 which was a glitch crap happens and they fixed it immediately but we had no hot water the first full day of being there, and the elevator went down for our entire stay thankfully only on the 2nd floor Bigger issue was the parking, no other way to put it it sucked but we made due Definitely would stay again but not over a holiday

We stayed for the 3rd, 4th, and 5th of July. Can’t beat the location, directly across from the south side of Long Sands beach… nice seasonal outdoor pool, and green space with food and ice cream trucks. Also a small Starbucks in the office which made morning coffee runs extremely convenient and delicious! We even walked 1.5 miles to and from Short Sands beach for fireworks and candy/taffee. All around an excellent stay with our two little kids (2.5 and 1). Would definitely recommend for young families, especially if you’re looking for convenience.

Newly renovated motel not a hotel so no restaurant or room service . Not even a phone in the room. Parking was very challenging for the July 4th weekend. Steps to the beach but a little far down from the bathrooms on long sands .Pool isn’t heated and trash bins outside were overflowing and not emptied . No one came to give us fresh towels or empty our trash so I had to ask this to be done . No closet to hang up your clothes or full length mirror. It’s just ok for what it is, a motel .

The rooms were presented wuite well, new construction, however the plumbing was a huge issue. We also had a room booked for friends to sleep three and when we got there not one room was available for a switch and no form of cot or bed was available for the 3rd individual. Wifi and television dis not work and was told the room was too far from the router. Our toilet overflowed several times and both sinks in the room had a leak at the trap. Plumbing professional was called (we are plumbers, mind you) and we were to be comped for our room but have yet to see those credits come back through. Left a message with general manager, Darlene, who has yet to return a call to us. Very disappointing for almost 1300 for 3 rooms.

Across the street from a great section of the beach- staff here were fantastic. Little hiccup with the reservation through expedia, but it got sorted right out with no stress. Rooms are clean, bed was suoer comfortable, and honestly of all things the shower was a family favorite! Will absolutely book here anytime we come to York again in the future!

Very disappointing stay. The room had a strong paint smell, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably throughout the night. The room was extremely small, and the window faced the passageway, making it impractical to keep it open. Additionally, the bed was very noisy and squeaked with every movement, making it even harder to get a good night's sleep. Overall, the room was overpriced and not worth the money.

place is still under heavy construction, room was not ready until 5 and i had to follow up she forgot to text me when it was ready. there were construction items and random furniture on our balcony. the small indoor couch was absolutely covered in dog hair, no way we could sit on it. the pool gates were locked every morning and we needed to remind the staff, with a response each time "oh yeah let me unlock the. the rates were higher than comparable places near by. the parking was lousy due to construction trailer and other work trucks. no full length mirror in our room and i paid extra for a deluxe suite but was far from deluxe. the room was new and clean so was the pool, but these two factors are why i gave 2 stars vs 1 or no stars. i may email the owner and debating a claim to the BBB

Place looks like it opened to early, they still setting the place up. Our first room the door did not close properly, it would not lock. We moved to another room and the keys did not work, had to wait for Manager to try and fix the sensors on the door lock. It still took 15-20 swipes for key to open. 3rd night we had a dam dog barking for most of the night, we got no sleep. Only good thing was the staff was extremely helpful and tried to fix everything thing, I think they are facing an uphill battle as this place needs work.
