"Beautiful hotel and pool "

"The hotel is quite old, and many of the furnishings show clear signs of wear and age. The rooms would greatly benefit from renovation and updated furniture. The air conditioning unit was also very old, extremely noisy, and did not have a heating mode, which made the stay less comfortable. However, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, which made the experience more pleasant. The pool area was clean and well-maintained, and the parking was convenient and sufficient. Overall, while the service and amenities were decent, the condition of the rooms and facilities needs significant improvement."

"Our charming one-night stay began with an early arrival and conversation with the charismatic staff as they took our bags and provided recommendations to nearby dining options. On our return, we were led on the historic elevator - original to the building from 1926 - and our room, where our bags were waiting. The area is eminently walkable with several food an entertainment options nearby. Hotel St. Michel easily became our preferred location to stay in Coral Gables."
