「Nice room and well presented we had velux windows and therefore couldn’t see outside. We were in room 1 right by stairs so there is more noise with people coming up the stairs. In terms of service every member of staff was doing 2 or 3 jobs everytime we saw them, they were all trying very hard but there really wasn’t enough of them to man all ovations as necessary from reception to bar to restaurant we were served by same person. 」

「The Bears Paw is a lovely country pub with a splendid kitchen and very comfortable rooms... and a very warm welcome to dogs!! The rooms are very nicely decorated, generously sized and comfortable. The food is delicious and interesting. The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. A great place to stay, we'll be back! 」
