「Excellent location with lots of easy free parking. Chef made us a delicious, large portion, plated breakfast each morning. She was extremely helpful answering questions about the property, surrounding sites and places to dine for dinner. Bonus- "The Barn" is located right next to the Inn and had live entertainment both nights we stayed. I highly recommend this Inn if looking to stay in Harper's Ferry!!」

「First room offered had powerful odours (pets?) and not acceptable. Alternative room was fine although all odd numbered rooms suffer road noise in morning rushour. Breakfast very nice for level of hotel.」

「The hotel has a great setting for a traveler with a pet. There is a lawn in front and behind the building to walk a dog. Everything else is just awful. A toilet bowl with rusted spots, a dump floor, barely working wi-fi, broken safe, broken locks at the entries of the building… whoa, it is a shame to run such a poorly maintained facility for &100 +l」

「Oh. My. The WORST place I've ever stayed. All of this is true: 1. hair in the sink 2. balled up, filthy washcloths shoved into the AC unit 3. stains all over the walls 4. putrid cigarette smell 5. holes in the bathroom door 6. a live-in neighbor who banged on the wall and screamed the second I got in the room 7. a stinkbug infestation in the curtains and under the bedskirt 8. drunk live-in neighbors who chain-smoked I just left at 11:45pm and got another place. This place should be condemned.」

「Room and general areas clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only complaint was room was a little cramped - one of the beds (two queens) was about 8 inches from the wall, making it difficult to get into that side of the bed.」

「The Antietam Overlook Inn is a wonderful B&B perfectly situated on a hilltop in the Maryland Piedmont, just minutes away from Antietam Nat'l Battlefiield, Sharpsburg MD and Shepherdstown WV. The wilderness setting is stunning -- I saw more wildlife in one hour drinking my morning coffee than I saw in an entire day in Shenandoah Nat'l Park. The staff prepared a delicious communal breakfast for the 3 couples staying that night along with us. Great for pets -- they have a Frenchie, a farm cat...

「Did not like the Continental Breakfast. No hot food, not even a waffle maker so we passed. I expected much better.」

「Room can use a better clean up. Bathroom, towels, and pillow/sheets. Needs to be clean better. No insect/roach, so good. Lights, microwave, and fridge all works. Staff are friendly and patient. 7.5/10 Would stay again.」

「Lovely Luxury with a spacious sunset suite. Very comfortable bed and sofa. Wish there were one or more sofa tables. staff were delightful, will definitely come again. Please add a cafe for guests not wanting a large expensive dinner. Breakfast Food was very good. Kitchen well equipped for beverage and snack storage, and very clean.」
