「Room and general areas clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only complaint was room was a little cramped - one of the beds (two queens) was about 8 inches from the wall, making it difficult to get into that side of the bed.」

「The Antietam Overlook Inn is a wonderful B&B perfectly situated on a hilltop in the Maryland Piedmont, just minutes away from Antietam Nat'l Battlefiield, Sharpsburg MD and Shepherdstown WV. The wilderness setting is stunning -- I saw more wildlife in one hour drinking my morning coffee than I saw in an entire day in Shenandoah Nat'l Park. 「Warning: A LOT of steps! The guest rooms are on several levels—definitely not handicap-friendly. We have done several B&Bs over the years and always enjoyed great breakfasts and meeting the innkeepers and other guests. While breakfast was good and made to order, the “charm” we’ve enjoyed in the past was missing. The decor was very eclectic—no real theme other than filling up a very large facility.
